Operating Systems and Software

Red Barn uses open source Linux distributions such as CentOS, Debian, Fedora, and Ubuntu, as well as commercial versions such as Red Hat or Windows. We offer dual-boot and virtualization support as requested. Red Barn also uses InfiniBand networking communications and the Slurm workload manager for our offered platforms.

Red Barn Technology Group is an Advanced Partner of Bright Computing, and recommends Bright Cluster Manager for automating the process of building and managing Linux clusters. We also work closely with and highly recommend the Warewulf systems management suite for HPC applications.
