Front I/O Design
RS400-E8-PS2-F is built for the best using experience. RS400-E8-PS2-F features a front I/O design, allowing users to easily access the I/O ports from the front panel. This design is ideal for data-center or rack mount cabinet with separated hot andcold aisle for one sided maintain.
RS400-E8-PS2-F’s internal layout is optimized for rack-mounted configurations, with both the CPU and memory placed in a parallel arrangement directly behind the fan inlet to promote maximum cooling for increased efficiency— and that makes it perfect for datacenters.
RS400-E8-PS2-F has high expandability with 2+1 expansion slots in a configuration: that means one PCI-E Gen3x 16 slot, one PCI-E Gen3x 8 slot, plus one PCI-E Gen3x 8 slot OCP Mezzanine card. This flexible expansion offers diverse applications in storage and networking to meeting the demands of future expansion.
RS400-E8-PS2-F includes a front I/O design, a front-side VGA port, front LAN port, front expansion add-on slot I/O switch, front LED switch, front power inlet, so you’re able to connect a display quickly and easily. RS400-E8-PS2-F also benefits from an exclusive tool-less rail kit design, easing deployment for systems administrators for increased efficiency.
The server also carries an asset tag for fast identification. RS400-E8-PS2-F also offers great freedom when it comes to the choice of operating system drive type and placement, with M.2 slot available.
IEasy Diagnostic and Management
RS400-E8-PS2-F has a visible front Q-Code/port 80 LED display LED for simple monitoring of the entire boot process, from the early hardware-awakening stages to the launch of the operating system and beyond. A bright CPU and Memory LED on board lets you check the server’s status instantly. With the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0-compliant ASMB8-iKVM module in RS400-E8-PS2-F, you’ll be able to monitor, control and manage the server remotely.
